SEVEN-UP sides Ipswich Thistle and Laxfield United have avoided each other in the semi-final draw of this season’s Anglian Radio Kids’ Trust Suffolk Sunday Shield.

Both sides scored seven times in their quarter-final ties last weekend to advance to the last four of the competition.

Laxfield will face Raydon Ravens, while Ipswich Thistle have to wait to find out whether they will meet Greshams or Moreton Hall Youth Ferals, who will try again this Sunday after last weekend’s tie was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Bury St Edmunds-based sides Bardwell Sport and Hardwick have been drawn together in the semi-finals of the Suffolk Sunday Trophy. The other tie sees Ipswich side Monarchs take on Pakenham.

All four semi-final ties will take place at neutral venues which will be announced in due course.

Matches to be played on Sunday, March 11th 2018, kick-offs 10.30am, with no extra time.
