Semi-final to take place this Friday

THE delayed semi-final of the Suffolk Senior Cup will take place on Friday.

BUNGAY Town will face Brantham Athletic Reserves in the semi-final of the CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup on Friday.

The tie will be played at Summer Road, home of Walsham-le-Willows FC (pictured above), kick-off 7.45pm.

The semi-final goes ahead following the joint statement released by Suffolk FA and Leiston FC on Wednesday morning.

The winners will play Woodbridge Town, who on Tuesday night were crowned this season’s Thurlow Nunn League Division One champions, in the final on Friday, May 11th at Portman Road, kick-off 7.30pm.

Woodbridge Town defeated Achilles, who were the holders and have since won this season’s Touchline SIL Senior Division, 3-1 in their semi-final at Felixstowe & Walton United FC earlier this month.
