Small Grants Scheme Available For Clubs

APPLICATIONS are now invited from Suffolk clubs for small grants up to £500.

The window is now open for applications and these can be submitted up until 5pm on Monday, November 27th, 2017.

This is the third year of the Small Grants Scheme – last year ten successful projects across the county received support.

Small grants of up to £500 are available for projects relating to facility development or pitch improvements. Some examples of successful projects have funded portable amenities, pitch servicing equipment and facility improvements associated with capital projects.

The first process in applying for the grant would be to fill in a pre-application form called the Football Facility Enquiry From.

Please click here to access the form on The FA website.

Once this form has been completed, you will be sent feedback on your project and whether the applicant should now apply for the Suffolk FA Small Grants Scheme.

The application form for the Suffolk FA Small Grants Scheme is in the documents section at the bottom of this page.

Upon Suffolk FA receiving the application form, the Suffolk FA Small Grants Scheme Panel will meet to discuss the application and you can expect a decision within six weeks of the funding window closing.

Suffolk FA Mini-Soccer and Youth Football Development Officer Jodie Allard said: “Any clubs who are looking to support the sustainability and future development at the club are encouraged to consider this grant to help develop their small projects.

“This fund is a fantastic way for Suffolk FA to support some smaller capital projects at our clubs and I’m sure the fund will have another positive impact on Suffolk football again this season.”

In order to find out more about the scheme, please speak to Jodie Allard, who can be contacted on 01449 776311 or 07432 735961 or via email: Jodie.Allard@Suffolkfa.com
