FA Girls' Advanced Coaching Centre

SUFFOLK FA are again licensed to run a Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre in the 2017-18 season.

The centre, which will be licenced and supported by the Football Association and sponsored by HomeStore Self Storage, will provide talented young female players throughout Suffolk and the surrounding areas with weekly additional training and fixtures, whilst still playing for their clubs.

Suffolk FA Girls' & Women's football Development Officer Rebecca Bolton said: “The Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre will provide girls at U12, U14 and U16 age groups with season-long coaching once a week on the 3G pitch at AFC Sudbury and a fixture programme with a minimum of six fixtures a season to support the girls’ development.

“This bespoke pathway for the East of England will ensure talented young females across Suffolk are given every opportunity of progressing through the Female Elite Talent Pathway.

“Within this pathway players will be working with highly qualified coaches including a goalkeeping coach. The girls also have access to an experienced physio who attends training sessions every other week.”
