Youth Council

    •
Suffolk FA is giving young people a voice in key decisions affecting grassroots football through the formation of a new Youth Council.

As part of the innovative plans, the Chair of the Suffolk FA Youth Council will have full voting rights on the Suffolk FA Council – making Suffolk FA among the first County Football Associations in England to do this.

The Youth Council for the upcoming season is:

  • Chair - Bradley Mingay
  • Lead Project Officer - Cameron Hogg
  • Coaching Officer - Diarmuid Linehan
  • Events Officer - Eva Hubbard
  • Refereeing Officer - Chay Hathway
  • Media Officer - Ben Rowland
  • Volunteer Officer - Bradley Davies

The Youth Council is for young people aged between 14 and 22 to give them a platform to aid increase participation amongst youth in grassroots football and to give them a voice in shaping the future of the game.

This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that the skills and experiences of our participants are reflected through the work of Council.

We are excited by the prospect of working with the Youth Council for many years to come for the benefit of the game in the County.

If you wish to find out more about the Youth Council please contact James Morley at Suffolk FA on 01449 776312 or via email at james.morley@suffolkfa.com
