Cedars Park Football Club
are moving to a new home and brand new facilities on Cedars Park estate in Stowmarket for the new season.
The club will now play all first team and reserve team games at the new Cedars Park Community Centre from August, following a successful opening day on Sunday,  June 22nd including a friendly match between ITFC and NCFC Legends.
The club is very ambitious and very much looking to progress higher within the Touchline Suffolk & Ipswich League, following a number of league and cup wins since forming in 2009. At present, the first team play in Division Two, and the reserve team will play in Division Four.
New for 2014/15 season, the club have also formed a new ‘A’ Team, who will be competing in the St Edmundsbury League. The aim of the team is to provide a platform for predominantly 16-19 year olds to play competitive Saturday afternoon football, with a view to progression through the football club with experience gained. Cedars Park are very keen to hear from youngsters who may be interested in this opportunity.
Pre-season training begins at Cedars Park Community Centre, Pintail Road, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 5FP (Just beyond the primary school) at 10am weekly on Saturday mornings from June 28th and 7pm weekly on Tuesday evenings from July 1st.

Inspire Suffolk Youth Football Tournament Clubs in Suffolk are invited to participate in an Inspire Suffolk Youth Football Tournament in August 2014.
Inspire Suffolk are looking for U7-U16 teams (except for U10s) across Suffolk to take part in a five-a-side Youth Football Tournament (U7s to be playing 4-a-side) at Inspire Suffolk this summer.
This tournament will take place over two weekends at a cost of £20 per team, with each event lasting around four hours. Registration will be at 10.30am and the tournament will run from 11am-2pm.
Dates:  August 2nd and August 9th                      
Age Groups (as of 2014-15 season):
August 2nd – Under 7s/9s/11s/13s/15s
August 9th – Under 8s/10s/12s/14s/16s

Haverhill Community Sports Association
require a sports development apprentice to support the role of the current community football development officer.
The sports development officer aim will be to provide opportunities in sport (mainly football) for all sections of the community.
The post will be full-time (two years fixed term subject to terms of contract) with a salary of £80.40 per week minimum.
The officer will distribute information and organise football related activities, classes, programmes, coaching, school club links and club development.
The officer will support those participants who wish to play the game for fun as well as supporting higher level participants and support their further development.
The central aim is to increase participation and opportunity within Haverhill and the community area however the sports development officer will be required to support the current facility manager in facility operations including managing budgets, health and safety and staffing.

If you are a16-18 year old male student and considering a career in sport, a Football and Education Scholarship at Inspire Suffolk could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The two-year programme at Inspire Suffolk based at Lindbergh Road, Ipswich runs from September 2014 - June 2016 and replaces the Futsal and Education Scholarship finishing in June 2014.
The programme is likely to run on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm with fortnightly home and away fixtures on Wednesday afternoons. The course is entirely online with no paperwork. 
The successful students will benefit from learning the 11-a-side game whilst incorporating a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. You will be taught by experienced coaches midweek as well as playing in regular midweek fixtures in a regional league against teams like Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Brighton – with away fixtures being played at some of their academies.

Five-a-side Competition Needham Market’s 17th annual five-a-side competition will take place at Crowley Park on Sunday, June 29th.
It is intended to run teams from Under-7s to Under-17s.  In the Under 7s, 8s and 9s age groups there will be no semis or finals as this will be played as a league, with all players receiving a medal.
The competition will be affiliated to Suffolk County FA. Rules for the tournament will be emailed with your team’s confirmation of entry so please supply an email address when entering your team.
The entry fee is £20 per team and £4 will be going towards first aid attendance.

The Cranes Sevens is historically an adult seven-a-side competition that ran in Ipswich for several years from 1966 to 1988, with Ipswich Town FC being one of the many winners throughout the years. The competition was re-introduced in 2012 as a youth competition.
Clubs are invited to compete in the annual seven-a-side competition to be held on Sunday, July 6th 2014 at Gresham Sports Club, Tuddenham Road, Ipswich IP4 3QJ. 
It is intended to run teams for current under-10s and under-12s and entries will be on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum 18 teams per age group.
The competition will be affiliated to Suffolk County FA, match rules will be as per the SSYFL rules and competition rules for the tournament will be emailed with your team’s confirmation of entry so please supply an email address when entering your team.
The entry fee is £30 per team. Under-10s will start first from 9am with the under-12s starting at 12.45pm. Age groups will be based on the current season.

Over the two days the festival will cater for all age groups between Under-7s and Under-15s and some age groups shoud be able to play on the club’s brand new state-of-the-art 4G pitch which is currently under construction. The entry fee is £25 per team.
There will also be other activities taking place including football tennis, volleyball, penalty shoot-out, speed shot, football golf, pot shot, futsal and coaching.

Applications are invited from teams to compete in Suffolk’s largest five-a-side tournament – Stowupland Falcons FC Big 5-a-side.
This year will be the 31st staging of the event, and the organisers are expecting to have more than 160 teams competing across youth and adult tournaments again this year over two days in June.
The adult men’s event is now well-established with 40 teams entering. The organisers are particularly looking for Ladies teams to enter the Women’s tournament. So if you fancy getting together one last time after the season is over and taking part in a well organised football tournament, this is the event for you.
The adult and women’s event is taking place on Saturday, June 7th, starting at 3pm and running through until around 8pm.
A bar and entertainment will be available through the evening and into the night.
If you are not sure if you have a team you can book now and reserve your place, and as long as you withdraw your team by the date in the booking conditions, a full refund will be given.
Under-7 and Under-8 competitions are free to enter while other entry fees remain unchanged for the seventh year running and are still only £20 per team.

The Cranes Sevens
is historically an adult seven-a-side competition that ran in Ipswich for several years from 1966 to 1988 with Ipswich Town FC being one of the many winners throughout the years. The event was re-introduced in 2012 as a youth competition.
Clubs are invited to compete in this year’s competition to be held on Sunday, July 6th 2014 at Gresham Sports Club, Tuddenham Road, Ipswich IP4 3QJ. 
The intention is to run teams for the current season’s under-10s and under-12s and entries will be on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 18 teams per age group.
The competition will be affiliated to Suffolk County FA, match rules will be as per the SSYFL rules and competition rules for the tournament will be emailed with each team’s confirmation of entry, so please supply an email address when entering your team.
The entry fee is £30 per team. Under-10s will start first from 9am, then under-12s at 12.45pm.  (Age groups based on the current season).
Food and drink will be available on the day from the barbecue along with a draw and other children’s events.

Football and Educaion Scholarships: If you are a16-18 year old male student and considering a career in sport, a  Football and Educaion Scholarship at Inspire Suffolk could be the perfect opportunity for you,
The two-year programme at Inspire Suffolk based at Lindbergh Road, Ipswich runs from September 2014 - June 2016 and replaces the Futsal and Education Scholarship finishing in June 2014. The programme is likely to run on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am-4pm with fortnightly fixtures on Wednesday afternoons. The course is entirely online with no paperwork.
The successful students will benefit from learning the 11-a-side game whilst incorporating a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. You will be taught by experienced coaches midweek as well as playing in regular midweek fixtures in a regional league against teams like Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Brighton – with away fixtures being played at some of their academies. 
For those students who play for a local football club, you will still be able to attend your evening training sessions and be available for your weekend matches.
