Under-7s: Any boys or girls in school Year 2 can join our thriving U7 set-up. Regular festivals and weekly training led by experienced coaches.
Under-8s: Players in school Year 3. Bury Town currently run three U8 teams in the ISYFL, we are on the lookout for enthusiastic players of all abilities to join us and to play in the Suffolk FA WAYS league (Saturdays).
Under-10s: Players in school Year 5. Bury Town currently run two U10 teams in the ISYFL and are now looking at setting up a third team which will play on a Saturday within the Suffolk FA WAYS League.
Under-13 Lions: Are looking to add one or two more players to their team that plays in the ISYFL (Sundays).
Youth Development: Bury Town run a very successful youth football programme one which offers football to players of all abilities, the club also offers the chance to challenge players to the next level with teams being entered into the Eastern Junior Alliance, the closest footballing standard to Academy football. Highly qualified coaches and the opportunity to be involved within a step 3 semi professional football club. Bury Town are looking for players playing at U13 & U15 level at present.
Girls' & Ladies' Football
Under-8-Under-10: Girls in school Years 3-5 can join the growing set-up. Weekly training and monthly festival with plans to enter two teams into the SGWFL for next season.
Under-12: Are looking to add one more player to the club's newest SGWFL team, weekly training and regular league matches.
Under-14-Under-16: Girls in school Years 9-11 can join the set-up as the club looking to add an U16 team for next season to their existing set-up and can offer coaching with our highly qualified and experienced staff.
Ladies' Development: Are looking for a goalkeeper and one or two more players to add to this exciting squad. Players must be 16 and the team currently plays in the SGWFL.
Ladies' first team: Are looking to add a central midfielder and a few more players to continue their push towards the Eastern Region Women's Football Premier Division. The team currently plays at Ram Meadow (home of Bury Town Football Club) and are serious about providing ladies with a great opportunity to enjoy their football and work their way up the footballing pyramid.
Coaching/Getting Involved Opportunities
Under-7s coach: Looking for 2 coaches to join our set-up to take on our youngest of teams and to take them into the U8 Division for the 2015-16 season. Great coaching support on offer at Bury Town with a number of highly qualified coaches.
Under-8s coach: Looking for an enthusiastic individual who would like to take on a great opportunity of working with our Bulldogs team which plays on a Sunday within the ISYFL.
Under-12 Girls' manager: Looking for an enthusiastic individual who would like to take on our U12 Girls team on matchdays and work with our coaches at training sessions. We have a good pool of coaches working with our Girls section and we would like to expand, with a manager needed. Great coaching support on offer and no administration duties in the role.
Girls' Football Development Officer (Voluntary): Bury Town are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a real interest in developing Girls' football.
