The Suffolk FA Youth Conference is an annual event to highlight Youth football in the county.
The event was first staged as part of Love Football, Live Football Week in October 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Ipswich and was sponsored by P&O Ferrymasters.
It was led by FA National League Development Manager Andrew Hailwood and Karl Lines, The FA's National Children and young People Manager (12-16s) whose role also involved leading on Youth Leadership Development (12-25s),
The 2017 event took place in November at Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf & Spa in Woodbridge.
The theme for the event was focused on ‘creating player centred environments within Suffolk’s clubs and leagues’ and aim to give delegates some practical tips to take away to create the best possible environments within their respective football environments moving forwards.
FA Respect Lead Nathan French and John Folwell, the FA’s National Participation Manager who leads on youth football development for the organisation, were the guest speakers.
