New Womens Suffolk Sixes!

10:09 AM, Wednesday, 03 March 10. Women & Girls

Following on from the news that Suffolk FA's very own six a-side league, Suffolk Sixes, will be taking place in a third location in 2010, another variation of the competition has been added!

For Women in Suffolk there will now be a Female version of the extremely popular Suffolk Sixes six a-side Leagues starting on Thursday 20th May 2010.

The League will be played at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds on a weekly basis, with the competition running for 7 weeks. Matches will be played between 7:00pm - 8:30pm with the aim of the competition being to aid the transition for Under-16 players from Girls Football into the Women’s game, as well as helping existing clubs to retain their players.

All teams are invited to enter, whether a social team of friends or an established club. Suffolk FA are welcoming all entries as we look to continue the trend of offering more flexible formats of football to Women & Girls within the County.
