The 2008/09 Suffolk FA County Cup season saw some fantastic football played all across the county. There were plenty of shocks, nail-biting drama and bags of goals!

To mark the end of this season's County Cups, SuffolkFA.com has rounded up some interesting statistics...

- Overall, a staggering 2,950 goals were scored in just 584 games, giving an average of 5.05 per game!

- 584 games in all Cups saw just 178 clean sheets kept out of a possible 1,168!

- The competition that saw the most amount of goals was the Sportsguard Suffolk FA Sunday Cup with a total of 558 goals scored in just 57 games, with each game averaging 9.78 goals!

- One of the most dramatic games this season saw an 8-8 draw between Boxford Rovers and AFC Thurlow after extra-time in the Suffolk FA Sunday Shield! Thurlow eventually clinched victory 4-3 on penalties.

- Jordan Rhodes, who scored in Ipswich Town Reserves' 3-0 victory over Leiston in the LB Group Suffolk FA Premier Cup in October, has since gone on to score 7 goals in 14 appearances for Brentford in Coca-Cola Football League Two, including a 29 minute first-half hatrick against play-off finalists Shrewsbury!

- Wortham Dolphin United's victory in the Sportsguard Suffolk FA Sunday Cup Final saw them become the first team from the South Norfolk Sunday League ever to have won the competition.

- Lowestoft Town were the most successful club, lifting both the LB Group Suffolk FA Premier Cup and the Suffolk FA Senior Reserve Cup.

- Stanton were the nearly men of the season; the Bury St Edmunds club saw their first team and reserve team reach the Semi-Finals of the Junior and Primary Cups respectively, but both lost out to the eventual winners of the competition!
