Volunteering

In conjunction with our partners, the Volunteer Centres of Suffolk and the Suffolk Volunteering 2012 Legacy Project, the Suffolk FA has formed links to support and assist our clubs and leagues in the important role of volunteer recruitment and retention.

Grassroots football relies on the hard work of volunteers to support the organisation of clubs and leagues. Without the hard work of volunteers, grassroots football would not exist. Often clubs are run by one or two volunteers that have two or three different roles in the club; this can be a strain on these individuals. The volunteer partnerships created by Suffolk FA aim to support clubs and leagues to identify and support new volunteers within their organisation.
