Suffolk New College
Suffolk New College are holding training sessions for current year 11 students who are interested in joining the Suffolk New College football Scheme in season 2010/11.
These sessions are held at Whitton Sports Centre on Monday evenings from 8pm until 9.30pm on the all weather pitch.
Suffolk New College has been providing local sportsmen with the opportunity to develop their footballing skills and gain recognised academic qualifications since July 2000. In 2008 this opportunity was made available to women.
The program is designed to help students achieve their sporting potential within a footballing environment and to further their education through the diverse range of courses available at suffolk New College. In addition the Level 1 coaching course in football will be made available to every student enrolled.
The football program aims to provide all students with professional coaching and opportunities to play in the Football Conference Youth Alliance, British Colleges Sport League, and the Ridgeons League.
The program is delivered by FA licensed coaches who will provide top level coaching on all key aspects of the game through practical training sessions and classroom based lessons.
In the Football Conference Youth Alliance we play as Ipswich Town Community Trust and in the Ridgeons League we play as Needham Market FC
