Currently, Suffolk have 26 affiliated Women’s teams, 67 youth female teams and 14 specific girls' mini soccer teams.
Our main aim is to raise participation across all levels of the female game and there are various opportunities for females to get involved within football in Suffolk as a player, coach, referee, young leader or as a volunteer.
We deliver a varied programme of events to girls’ and women across Suffolk which includes the following:
Girls’ & Women’s Football Forums
Girls’ Schools Leagues
4v4 Girls’ Festivals
Girls’ Football Turn Up & Play Projects
Female Suffolk Sixes
Ladies 'Kick Yourself Fit' projects
Girls’ Specific School-Club Links Programme
In addition to the grassroots opportunities available to girls in the county, those players wanting to further develop their skills are catered for within various Player Development Centres around the county.
Suffolk also has a women’s league, which enables players over the age of 16 the chance to play in a safe and friendly environment.
