Checklist
- Your organisation should benefit people under 25 (Applications from disabled organisation have no age limit)
- Your organisation’s income should be less than £15,000 per annum (schools and health bodies are exempt)
- Costs of your project should be no more than £10,000 (90% maximum award)
- You should already have / or be committed to achieving the FA’s Charter Standard award within 12 months
- All groups working with young people under 18 must have child protection policies and procedures in place
- Your organisation should have a constitution
- All applicants should have their own bank account
- Applicants must not have received Football Foundation funding in the last 3 years, with the exception of a Junior Kit Scheme* (JKS) Grant.

Junior Kit Scheme* - (JKS) Grant
Grants of up to £300 are awarded to clubs and schools to be used for the purchase of a football strip. The grant is given in the form of a voucher. This must be exchanged for a branded strip from the Football Foundation’s nominated supplier within six months of issue.
Checklist
- Team members to be under 16
- Clubs and Schools must be an FA Charter Standard Club /School or committed to becoming Charter Standard within 12 months
- Declarations must be signed by clubs and Headteachers of Schools applying
- Applications may be submitted at any time. You will be notified within six to eight weeks
