Our strategy contributes to the delivery of The FA’s National Game Strategy over the next four years.
Our purpose is:
Suffolk FA's vision for football over the next 4 years is to grow the game in a fun, learning based environment, in partnership with the football workforce in Suffolk.
Our challenges
From the extensive consultation process which has taken place, seventeen core challenges have emerged.
In Year 1 of the strategy, the priorities of Suffolk FA will be:
- Referees
- Behaviour
- Communications
- Facilities
To address these priorities, the Suffolk FA has:
- appointed a Referees Development Officer
- overseen mandatory Child Welfare Officers as part of the affiliation process for 2008-09
- embraced the RESPECT programme
- established a communications sub-group to improve Suffolk FA’s media and communications output
- prioritised key strategic facilities projets over the next four years
