How did you become involved in football and when?
I first became involved in football at the age of seven when I played in goal for St Philip's Junior School in Cambridge. I can still remember the score was 2-2.
What is your memorable achievement in football to date?
My most memorable achievement in football is contributing to the establishment of the Referees' Academy in Suffolk where we are seeing young and very capable referees progress.
What is your role within Suffolk FA?
My role within Suffolk FA is Referees' Secretary.
What is the biggest challenge within your role?
The biggest challenge within that role is trying to please all the people all of the time - an impossibility but there is no harm in trying.
Who is your favourite team?
My favourite team are the match officials, but from the days of Johnny Haynes the first result I always checked was Fulham's.
